Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and grooming, with experience in pet handling, dog training, and animal restraint. This role involves providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the safety and comfort of each pet. The Pet Groomer will also assist with pet care routines and contribute to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing of various dog breeds and other small animals Handle animals safely and gently during grooming procedures, utilizing animal restraint techniques as needed Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area in accordance with health standards Monitor pets for signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions and communicate concerns to management Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring satisfaction with grooming results Support other team members with animal handling, kennel cleaning, or related duties as necessary Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming necessary. Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Ability to handle animals safely and effectively, including restraint and pet care procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients Must be detail-oriented, compassionate, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Join our team to provide exceptional pet grooming services while ensuring the safety and well-being of every animal.
