Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Assess pets' health during grooming sessions; communicate any concerns or abnormalities to pet owners or veterinary staff Assist with pet handling, restraint, and basic training to facilitate smooth grooming sessions Provide exceptional customer service by addressing owner questions and offering grooming recommendations Support additional animal care duties such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or assisting veterinary technicians when needed Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed standards and grooming techniques 3+ years of professional grooming experience required Knowledge of animal handling, restraint, and safety protocols to ensure pet comfort and security Ability to lift heavy pets or equipment safely as part of the grooming process Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Previous experience working with animals such as dogs and cats is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, Join us in making pets look and feel their best!
