Pet Bather

UNIcycle Business Consulting is an off-site Human Resources Department and is hiring for this role for a Bark Me Beautiful in Longmont, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

Bathing and Drying:

Perform bathing and drying duties for dogs based on the assigned workload for the day. Collaborate with team members to ensure an equitable distribution of tasks.

Grooming Preparation:

Conduct brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, plucking, and expressing anal glands as part of grooming preparation. Ensure thorough and careful completion of all tasks related to the animals' grooming needs.

Safe Handling and Control:

Practice safe handling techniques when interacting with animals at Bark Me Beautiful Pet Grooming Inc. Maintain control over animals during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. Safely lift and carry 50+ lbs easily. Comfortably able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned. Refer to the BMB facility book for guidance on cleaning tasks and address any questions.

Adaptability and Additional Duties:

Be adaptable to changes in workload and additional tasks. Understand that additional duties may be added to the job responsibilities at any time.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dog grooming or bathing preferred. Knowledge of grooming preparation tasks, including brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, plucking, and expressing anal glands. Ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks. Strong commitment to safe handling practices and animal welfare.
