Company Overview Whiskers While You Work, LLC provides in home pet care services for customers in Bloomfield, West Hartford, Avon, and Farmington, CT. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Pet Sitter to join our team that services Bloomfield and West Hartford, CT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the well-being and happiness of pets while their owners are away. Your passion for animal care will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional pet services. Main hours needed at this time are on Wednesday Thursday Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for pets in their own homes Administer medications and follow specific dietary requirements as needed Engage pets in play and exercise to ensure their physical and mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors Monitor and report any health or behavioral issues to the owners Ensure timely arrival for scheduled visits and maintain a flexible schedule Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in pet sitting or similar roles Strong knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques Ability to administer basic first aid or medications to pets Excellent communication skills with both pets and their owners Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing outstanding care.
