Responsibilities Safely bathe, groom, and dry pets, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and comfort Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior during grooming procedures Handle animals with patience and care, using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment regularly Observe pets for signs of health issues or discomfort, reporting concerns to veterinary staff as needed Support veterinary technicians or assistants with animal handling tasks during grooming or treatment processes Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet sitting, and kennel procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs or equipment) Strong animal care skills, including pet grooming, bathing, and general pet care practices Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses is desirable Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners and team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in pet care while making a meaningful impact on animals' lives.
