The animals rely on routine, attention, and follow-through—and so does the rest of the team. Key Responsibilities Deliver attentive, hands-on care to dogs and boarding guests Observe behavior, eating habits, and overall condition; report concerns promptly Stay active with multiple outdoor walks each day, regardless of weather Keep all areas clean and sanitary (kennels, bedding, dishes, laundry, floors) Manage daily tasks independently while staying in sync with team expectations This is a fast-moving, physically demanding role. Expect to be on your feet—lifting, cleaning, walking, and staying mentally focused throughout your shift. What We Value Consistent punctuality and reliability Strong attention to detail and clear communication Physical capability (lifting 50+ lbs, extended standing/walking) Comfort working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and improve Scheduling Requirements Flexibility is essential. Weekly needs may vary, and availability is required for: Early mornings (as early as 4:30 AM) Afternoon/evening shifts (up to around 8 PM) Split shifts and longer days when needed Weekends and holidays are required Part-time hours typically range from 15-30 per week, with potential for additional hours during peak times.
