Kennel Attendant

Kennel Technician We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pets. As and SPR Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals in our resort, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being while assisting with various tasks related to animal handling and care. In addition, to provide outstanding client customer service, have exceptional client rapport with 5 star service & be a team player with great communication skills.

Duties:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and surrounding areas
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the other Kennel staff of Kennel Supervisor
• Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being
• Ensure all animals receive proper socialization and attention, feeding and medications
• Provide excellent Customer Service to Clients, Pups & Visitors.
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kennel area and yards
• Handle animals safely and securely during check-in, check-out, and while in the kennel

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with animals preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and be available am & pm shifts as needed
• Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and behavior observations
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.

Note:

Prior experience working in a kennel or pet care facility is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Join us in providing exceptional care for our pups while working in a supportive team environment!
