About the Role We're seeking a Part-Time Groomer who is passionate about pets and dedicated to delivering a gentle, high-quality grooming experience. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, values teamwork, and thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment. You'll work closely with our primary care and client service teams to ensure every pet not only looks their best but also feels their best. What You'll Do Provide professional grooming services including bathing, clipping, trimming, and styling for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Ensure a calm, safe, and positive experience for each pet under your care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about grooming needs, preferences, and care recommendations. Collaborate with the VHA team to identify and report any medical or behavioral concerns observed during grooming. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of professional grooming experience (or formal grooming training). Strong animal-handling skills and a gentle, patient approach. Excellent communication and client service abilities. A passion for teamwork and contributing to a positive, mission-driven culture. Availability to work part-time hours, including some Saturdays.
