Bather

Our bathing staff spends most of their time making sure each fur baby that comes in, goes home looking and smelling like a brand new dog/cat! This job entails taking the time to bathe, brush, clip & dremmel the nails in a fast paced environment; reading important information on each animal that comes in to make sure they are cared for correctly.

Requirements:

Months or more experience in the pet grooming industry Attentive to surroundings Every other weekend availability Early morning shift availability Holiday availability Comfortable supervising animals of all breeds and sizes Able to work on feet for 8 hours Able to lift / hold at least 30 pounds Reliable transportation Open to training Friendly attitude Summary As a Bather, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the bathing process. Reporting to the Grooming Manager, you will utilize your core skills in animal handling and pet care to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Your premium skills in dog handling and will enhance the care provided to our furry clients. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and heavy lifting will contribute to a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Provide high-quality bathing and grooming services for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Handle animals with care and restraint, utilizing appropriate techniques to minimize stress. Assist in lifting and moving larger pets as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with staff regarding each pets' needs and grooming services. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all grooming tools and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
