Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals safely and gently, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming procedures Assess each pet's health and behavior, alerting veterinary professionals or owners of any concerns or health issues observed during grooming Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilized after each use Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare instructions, and pet behavior Assist with pet handling duties such as dog training or basic obedience when needed to facilitate grooming sessions Support team members with kennel cleaning, animal handling, and other animal care tasks as required Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styling techniques Knowledge of animal handling, restraint methods, and pet care best practices Familiarity with , dog handling, and animal restraint techniques to ensure safe grooming sessions Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as bathing tubs or large dogs safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Experience working with animals in kennel settings or pet sitting environments is a plus Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety standards to maintain a professional grooming environment Join us in creating happy, well-groomed pets while providing exceptional care that keeps our clients' furry friends looking their best!
