Your expertise will help create happy, confident pets and satisfied pet owners. This job is commission based by skill level. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Safely handle animals of various sizes and temperaments using proper restraint techniques Assess each pet's condition to identify any health concerns or skin issues, referring to veterinary professionals when necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options and aftercare instructions Skills Proven experience in pet grooming Strong knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal restraint methods Ability to handle animals safely while maintaining a calm and positive environment Excellent customer service skills to ensure pet owners feel confident and satisfied with services provided Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed grooming tasks Knowledge of animal handling of dogs and cats.
