We're dedicated to the whole well-being of pets as well as our employees. Our mission is to create a safe, respectful, and professional environment where every dog receives one-on-one care in a low-stress setting. With the receptionists handling scheduling and client interaction and groom techs assisting with the prep of the pets, our groomers can focus on taking the time to provide the best service while avoiding burnout. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be an experienced professional who is passionate about holistic pet care and thrives in a team-oriented environment. We want people who feel confident working with dogs who may struggle in a typical salon setting and are willing to constantly work towards creating a more comfortable experience for these dogs. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality grooming and styling services on dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments (accommodations can be made for those with weight restrictions) Communicate clearly and professionally with pet parents Maintain accurate records of grooming services and any health concerns observed Wash and dry dogs when support staff are unavailable Clean and sanitize grooming tools, maintain a tidy workstation and assist with daily salon cleaning Occasionally assist team members when necessary Qualifications 2+ years of professional grooming experience required Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Must be comfortable handling dogs of varying temperaments Proficient with grooming a variety of dog breeds and coat types Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong team player with a commitment to respectful, transparent care Willing to expand skills through company paid continuing education Benefits Approximately $60,000 /year Paid national holidays PTO Free uniform plus equipment allowance Company paid continuing education support Semi-private grooming stations for a calm, focused grooming experience Supportive, holistic environment with an emphasis on emotional and physical pet and employee wellness Inclusive and transparent company culture focused on teamwork, respect, safety, and communication
