Puppy Kennel Attendent

We are currently looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Puppy Kennel Attendant. As a Puppy Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our puppies. Your responsibilities will include feeding, grooming, and providing basic love and attention to our puppies. Additionally, if you are interested in cross training you can also assist customers with puppy selection and adoption. This is a rewarding position where you will be surrounded by adorable puppies all day long! Responsibilities Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kennel area Feed, bathe, and groom puppies according to their specific needs Monitor all puppies and reporting concerns Administer medications and vaccinations as (if) directed by the veterinarian Socialize and play with the puppies to ensure their emotional well-being Maintain accurate records of each puppy's health and behavior Requirements This position requires availability during AM hours and PM hours. Shifts vary between the hours of 6:00 AM- 7:00 PM. Must be reliable and available weekends High school diploma or equivalent Passion for working with puppies and a genuine love for animals Previous experience in a similar role or a strong background in animal care preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately Knowledge of basic puppy care techniques Ability to handle puppies of all sizes and breeds Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical stamina to lift and carry puppies, as well as perform cleaning tasks, must be able to lift 40 lbs Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize and multitask
