Job Description
Are you a groomer with experience and have the love for furry friends. Quakertown Vet Clinic is on the hunt for passionate Pet GroomerIn our Grooming Salon, youll have the opportunity to build personal relationships with your clients each time they visit. With your skills and expertise, youll advise pet parents on the best services for their pets and perform grooming services that exceed their expectations. And, as an added bonus, youll be able to share in excitement of a fresh pampered pet!

Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning for various pets
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grooming area and equipment
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' concerns and answering their questionsRequirements
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related field such as veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, pet care, equine care, dog training, kennel attendant, or pet sitting
- Proficient in various grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs and cats
- Knowledgeable about pet behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
