Hourly About Us Daisy's Darling Dogs is a family-owned pet care salon in Bloomington, IN offering professional grooming, boarding, and daycare services. About the Role We are looking for a friendly, reliable team member who loves dogs and enjoys working with people. This hybrid role combines hands-on pet care with front desk customer service and offers a great opportunity to grow in the pet care and grooming industry. Dog Bather Responsibilities Bathe, dry, and brush dogs of all sizes and coat types Trim nails and clean ears (training provided) Safely handle pets and ensure their comfort and wellbeing Assist groomers with prep work and cleaning between appointments Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area Assist with daycare and boarding pet care as needed Receptionist Responsibilities Greet clients and check pets in/out for grooming, daycare, and boarding Answer phones, texts, and online booking requests Schedule appointments using booking software Provide excellent customer service and communicate with pet parents Process payments and maintain client records What We're Looking For Love for dogs and comfort working around animals Friendly, positive customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Must have morning availability Able to lift 80+ lbs and stand for long periods Valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle Previous animal care or customer service experience is a plus What We Offer On-the-job training and growth opportunities Career path: Bather → Grooming Assistant → Groomer Competitive hourly pay Employee discounts on grooming, daycare, and boarding services Supportive, team-focused workplace
