Dog Groomer (Experienced) - Build & Grow Our Grooming/Spa Program Rin Tin Inn Crawfordsville, IN About Us Rin Tin Inn is a premium pet boarding, daycare, and grooming facility focused on providing individualized care, comfort, and a safe, enriching environment for every dog. As we continue to grow, we are investing in expanding our grooming and spa services —and we're looking for the right person to help lead that growth. Position Summary We're hiring an experienced Dog Groomer (2+ years) who is excited about more than just grooming—you'll play a key role in developing and building our grooming/spa program . This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to grow a business, shape service offerings, and make a real impact within an established pet care facility. We are open to commission-based or other creative compensation plan in addition to hourly wages to achieve a successful pet spa service for our business. When grooming demand is lighter, you'll support pet care and innkeeping duties , making this a stable, team-oriented role. What You'll Do Grooming & Spa Growth (Primary Focus) Perform full-service grooming: bathing, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, de-shedding, etc. Help expand grooming services and spa offerings (packages, add-ons, specialty treatments) Build relationships with clients and grow repeat grooming business Maintain grooming tools, workspace, and safety standards Recommend services based on coat condition and breed standards Pet Care Support (Secondary) Assist with boarding/daycare operations: feeding, walking, play supervision Monitor dog behavior, health, and comfort Clean and maintain suites and common areas Support front desk or pet parent communication as needed Qualifications 2+ years professional dog grooming experience (required) Confident with all breeds, coat types, and temperaments Strong scissoring and clipper skills Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Willingness to assist with general pet care duties when needed Strong customer service and communication skills Bonus If You Have Grooming certification Experience growing a grooming client base Interest in helping develop a spa-style grooming experience Background in boarding, daycare, or veterinary settings Why Join Rin Tin Inn?
