We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendent to join our team Thursday through Monday. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent service to our clients and their pets. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising them.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with grooming tasks as needed, including bathing and drying.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during their stay at the facility.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and well-being.
- Assist in record keeping related to animal care and client interactions. Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with pet grooming is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
HOURS WILL BE 7AM-11AM MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND ALL HOLIDAYS, AS WELL AS ON CALL WEEKENDS WHICH WILL HAVE A WEEK NOTIFICATION BEFORE CONFIRMED. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THESE HOURS WHEN APPLYING.
