Kennel Team Member - Animal Care & Facility Support Law's Country Kennel | Fort Wayne Area Law's Country Kennel is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and accountable team member who enjoys working with animals and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment. Our team members play an essential role in the daily care, safety, and well-being of the dogs entrusted to us . The work is active, fast-paced, and rewarding for individuals who enjoy staying busy and being part of a dedicated team with a good culture. Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining indoor and outdoor pet kennels Feeding pets and administering medications as directed Supervising and socializing with dogs Assisting with basic grounds maintenance and facility upkeep Communicating with pet owners and providing excellent customer service Answering phone calls and completing basic reports using Microsoft Office Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Genuine love and respect for animals Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to cleanliness and detail Willingness to follow established policies and procedures Ability to uphold and contribute to a strong team culture Why Join Our Team Receive hands-on animal care experience Competitive hourly pay ($17-$20 depending on experience and performance) Flexible scheduling with shifts available throughout the week Opportunities for timely advancement to leadership and management positions with pay $20-$25 per hour Eligibility for quarterly profit-sharing based on company performance A supportive and professional work environment that values accountability and growth At Law's Country Kennel, our staff members are the heart of our operation , and their dedication allows us to provide exceptional care for every dog entrusted to us.
