ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT

The City of Overland Park has a temporary Animal Care Attendant position available in the Parks and Recreation Department.

JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT

Works under the supervision of the Animal Care Supervisor, Animal Care Assistant Supervisor, and Animal Care Specialist throughout the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. Animal Care attendants interact with the public while performing daily duties. Assists with animal care duties to maintain the health and safety of the animals throughout the Farmstead.

REQUIREMENTS

Basic education - Must be 16 years or older.

EXPERIENCE

This is an entry-level position. No previous experience is required. Basic animal care background is beneficial and experience with livestock preferred.
