Exp. Vet Tech needed for PT pet sitter position

We're looking for 2 part-time team members to join us and help with non-complex and complex pet visits and dog walking. We handle pets with CHF, Chemo therapy, kidney failure, blind & deaf, etc., to include hospice care as well. Must be able to give injections, administer subq fluids, express bladder, etc. We have an elite team of Vet Techs, all working P/T with multiple years of experience, RVT's or certified. This is a meaningful, rewarding and fun job , but it also requires reliability, professionalism, and physical stamina . You'll be caring for sweet, affectionate pets and making a meaningful impact in the lives of families who trust us with their beloved animals.

Typical Duties Include:

Walking dogs and refreshing water bowls Administering medications and updating the app for client visibility Providing care to cats, rabbits, birds, turtles, and exotic pets Maintaining detailed visit notes and following care instructions to the letter Communicating with clients through the app (photos, updates, medication logs)

Requirements:

Professional pet care experience required (minimum 2-3 years) - Sorry, owning a pet doesn't count. Vet techs encouraged to apply! Especially if experienced with insulin injections or complex medications. Must live in our service area: Metairie, Lakeview, or New Orleans Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Comfortable with all shifts, including overnight and hospice care We're a fast-growing, highly respected company known for expert-level service.
