Experienced Pet Groomer - Luxury Fear-Free Grooming & Wellness Paisley's Posh Paws LLC Paisley's Posh Paws is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and confident Pet Groomer to join our growing team. We are a luxury grooming, boarding, training, and wellness facility focused on providing a calm, low-stress experience for pets and their families. We specialize in working with all temperaments, including stable pets, puppies, seniors, fearful dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, and pets who may not thrive in a traditional grooming environment. Our goal is to provide exceptional grooming, outstanding customer service, and compassionate handling while maintaining professional efficiency and building lasting client relationships. Please Note This is not an entry-level grooming position, apprenticeship, or grooming school environment. We are seeking an experienced groomer who is already confident working independently, performing breed-specific grooming, managing a productive schedule, and handling a variety of temperaments safely and professionally. Schedule Tuesdays and Wednesdays required Sundays optional Create your own schedule Evening appointments welcome but not required Commission-based position Support & Team Environment Groomers are expected to independently manage their appointments, including bathing and drying their own dogs. That said, we work as a team. Assistance is available when needed, and we are happy to help with bathing, prep work, or getting dogs started during busy periods to keep the day running smoothly and efficiently. Equipment & Supplies Groomers are expected to provide and maintain their own grooming tools, including clippers, blades, shears, combs, brushes, and personal grooming equipment. Paisley's Posh Paws provides the salon equipment, including professional grooming tables, bathing systems, tubs, dryers, kennels, shampoos, conditioners, and facility supplies. What We're Looking For 5+ years professional grooming experience strongly preferred Ability to independently perform breed-specific grooming Comfortable managing a schedule averaging 4-6 grooms per day, with additional bath appointments as scheduling allows Strong time-management and customer service skills Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency Understanding of canine behavior and body language Firm, calm, and confident handling skills Ability to maintain clear boundaries while using compassionate, low-stress handling techniques Comfortable working with stable, friendly pets as well as fearful, anxious, reactive, senior, and special-needs dogs Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the business What Makes Paisley's Different Family-first workplace culture Flexible scheduling Quality and compassion without sacrificing efficiency Low-stress, relationship-based approach Supportive team environment Continuing education encouraged Grooming, boarding, training, and wellness services all under one roof As a growing business, appointment volume can vary. While occasional slower days may occur, most days have appointments scheduled and we continue to steadily expand our clientele. We are looking for a groomer who wants to grow alongside us, build strong client relationships, and become a valued long-term member of our team. Marketing and social media participation are welcomed, but never required. Cat Grooming Cat grooming experience is a plus but not required. We currently maintain a small cat grooming clientele with only occasional appointments throughout the year. Assistance is available during cat grooming appointments, and cat grooming is not a primary responsibility of this position. Compensation Commission-based pay per dog groomed. This position offers unlimited earning potential based on productivity, schedule availability, and client retention. Our clients are loyal, appreciate quality work, and frequently tip generously for exceptional service. Experienced groomers who provide excellent customer service, build relationships with clients, and maintain an efficient schedule have the opportunity to develop a strong repeat clientele and excellent earning potential.
