Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated pet care team as a Cat Sitter, where your passion for animals and attention to detail will ensure our feline friends receive exceptional care and companionship. In this vital role, you'll provide attentive, loving care to cats in their owners' absence, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment to animal welfare will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their beloved pets. Responsibilities Feed, water, and administer medications to cats according to owner instructions Monitor cats' health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities promptly Provide engaging playtime and companionship to keep cats mentally stimulated and happy Clean litter boxes regularly, maintaining a hygienic environment for each pet Follow specific care routines for each cat, including grooming or special needs requirements Communicate with pet owners about their pets' status and any notable observations Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience caring for cats and other small animals Excellent communication abilities to update owners clearly and professionally Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene Dependability with a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs Attention to detail in following specific care instructions for each pet Basic veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant background is a plus Knowledge of pet grooming, animal restraint techniques, and pet sitting best practices Experience with cat rescue is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey caring for cats in a vibrant environment that values compassion, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Your dedication will help create safe, loving spaces for our feline friends while building trust with pet owners who rely on your expertise.
Pay:
$22.31 - $26.87 per hour
