Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional care for a variety of animals. This role involves daily responsibilities that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning rooms/pens. Assist in the restraint of animals for examinations or treatments. Maintain clean and safe living environments for all animals. Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns. Participate in the training of new staff on proper animal handling techniques. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the facility. Experience Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
