In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the hygiene and appearance of our furry clients while delivering exceptional customer service to their owners. Duties Gently bathe and groom pets according to breed standards and client preferences. Dry and brush pets to remove excess water and loose fur, ensuring a polished look. Inspect pets for any skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities, reporting findings to the appropriate staff. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a safe environment for pets. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and care. Assist with handling pets during bathing and grooming sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort. Support other team members with additional tasks as needed, including kennel duties or light cleaning. Skills Experience in pet bathing is highly desirable. Strong understanding of pet care practices and animal handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or moving equipment. Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus.
