Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will shine! Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure a stress-free grooming session Assess each pet's health and behavior, alerting veterinary staff or pet owners to any concerns or abnormalities Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area by disinfecting tools, tubs, and workstations regularly Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming procedures, aftercare tips, and special requests Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring animals are comfortable and secure throughout the process Support team members with additional animal care tasks such as kennel cleaning or light pet sitting when needed Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles for at least 1 year Strong knowledge of dog training, animal handling, and pet grooming techniques Ability to safely restrain animals using proper restraint methods and animal handling skills Familiarity with veterinary environments or veterinary experience is a plus Physical stamina for heavy lifting of pets and equipment throughout the day Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous Willingness to learn new grooming styles and stay current with industry best practices Join us to make a difference in pets' lives every day!
