  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to work in a sometimes stressful situation while maintaining composure and getting things done.
  • Be able to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Able to make a commitment to work on assigned days and hours.
  • Care and feeding of boarding dogs .
  • Administering medication.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing runs, general cleaning of all kennel areas.
  • Answer phones, make reservations, check-in/out boarding customers, and appropriately handle associated paperwork.
  • Must be very detail oriented and able to work quickly and multi-task.
In order to properly care for our doggie guests, we must maintain a sanitary and safe environment. Sometimes this requires the Kennel Attendant be able to lift up to 75 pounds, kneel, run, work quickly, and keep a calm, but assertive attitude. Combination of Morning and Evening shifts available. Flexibility preferred. Previous experience with dog handling/ and care, training, dog bathing or grooming at least one year is recommended. As a boarding facility we operate 365 days a year, weekend and holiday availability is required.
