Kennel Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kennel Worker to join our animal care team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and handling of animals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal welfare, possesses strong animal handling skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. All work is paid, with a focus on fostering a positive and supportive team atmosphere. Ability to work alone, self starter and positive attitude a must. Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain animals during daily care routines, examinations, and grooming sessions Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming Respond promptly to animal needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Care for and clean puppy areas, whelping boxes. Experience Prior kennel or animal care experience. Experience with dog handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies or animal transport Demonstrated ability to handle animals safely with patience and compassion.
