In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services that keep our furry clients looking and feeling their best. Your expertise will help enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of dogs of all breeds and sizes. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and client preferences Safely handle dogs during grooming procedures using proper animal restraint techniques Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, recommending additional veterinary or pet care if necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent working order Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during grooming Assist with pet handling and training to ensure calm behavior during grooming sessions Support other team members with animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel duties as needed Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling is a MUST Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong plus Familiarity with veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles enhances your ability to recognize health issues Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses demonstrates your animal handling skills Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or transporting animals safely Excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners Background in kennel management, pet sitting, or animal care roles supports your versatility in the position Join us to make a difference in pets' lives while showcasing your grooming talents!
