Job Description

St. Francis Animal Sanctuary & Rescue is seeking a dependable part-time team member to assist with property maintenance and animal care throughout the summer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Mowing grass using riding and push mowers Weed eating and general grounds maintenance Basic property upkeep and outdoor labor Filling in for Animal Care Technicians as needed Feeding animals and cleaning kennels when care staff are off Assisting with other sanctuary projects as assigned
Requirements:
Must be reliable and able to work independently Comfortable working outdoors in the Mississippi heat Able to safely operate lawn equipment Comfortable working around dogs and cats Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor Valid driver's license preferred
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours with an option to move to full time. Additional hours may be available when covering Animal Care Technician shifts.
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
