Professional Dog Groomer

Commission-based role with flexible scheduling and clientele provided. Qualified hires are eligible for a $1,000 retention bonus after 6 months of successful employment. Dee-O-Gee Missoula is a locally owned pet store looking for an experienced dog groomer who is confident working with dogs of all breeds and sizes.

You are a professional, caring and patient pet lover who can clearly communicate and meet customer requests and expectations in the grooming process. Safety and efficiency are priorities for you, and it is reflected in your ability to maintain a clean working environment.

Your Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of professional dog grooming experience Skilled in all-breed grooming Proven track record of safe animal handling Comfortable managing multiple dogs and tasks throughout the day Basic knowledge of pet health and wellness Experience working in a professional grooming environment As a Dee-O-Gee Pet Stylist You will: Groom dogs from start to finish and to client expectations. Manage and maintain your own schedule within our system. Offer solutions to our customers when they present you with problems. Make recommendations to clients that provide health and wellness solutions. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Work collaboratively with other team members (groomers, bathers, PHA). Know and adhere to safety guidelines. Basic knowledge of pet health and first aid. Recognize warning signs of potential health issues & report them to management & clients. Maintain work room and equipment. Keep a clean and professional work environment that adhere to Dee-O-Gee standards. Represent professional demeanor at all times with clients and staff. Maintain up to date customer notes in scheduling system. Accurately communicate service pricing to customers and supporting team members. Self-educate on current industry trends and work standards. Promote value-added product sales. Perform all other duties assigned by management Be able to lift 50lbs safely
