Animal Care Specialist

Job Description Tails R Waggin' Day Spa & Resort is seeking a dependable and hardworking Animal Caretaker to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position working directly with dogs in our daycare and boarding facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and passionate about animal care. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs in group play settings Feed, clean, and provide daily care for boarding dogs Maintain a clean and sanitary facility (kennels, play areas, etc.) Monitor dog behavior and ensure a safe environment Assist with daily operational tasks and team support Reception work•answering phones, making reservations, taking payments, checking clients in and out Schedule Must have availability between 7:00 AM•6:00

PM Shift Options:

Full Day:

7:00 AM•6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Half Day:

7:00 AM•12:00 PM OR 1:00 PM•6:00 PM Weekend & Holiday Availability

7:00 AM•12:00 PM & 3:00 PM•6:00

PM Sundays:

7:00 AM•10:00 AM & 3:00 PM•6:00 PM Requirements Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and dependability Ability to handle a physically demanding role (standing, lifting, cleaning) Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Team-oriented with a positive attitude Important Attendance policy is strictly enforced. Consistent reliability is required for this position.
