Experienced Professional Pet Groomer We are looking for an experienced Professional Pet Groomer to join our growing grooming department. We're looking for the right person to grow with our business—someone who takes pride in their craft, builds relationships with clients, and has the technical skills to offer more than basic shave-downs and maintenance grooms. Our grooming model is one-on-one and appointment based, allowing you to focus on each pet and the quality of your finished work. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional grooming experience preferred Strong scissoring, clipper, finishing, and coat-handling skills Experience with breed-specific, specialty, and advanced pet trims Ability and interest in offering premium services and grooming add-ons Ability to independently complete full-service grooms from start to finish Professional and confident client communication Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently Ability to take quality before-and-after photos of finished grooms Willingness to work with the Managing Partner to help promote and grow grooming services Flexible weekday and weekend availability A portfolio or photos demonstrating a range of your grooming work are required. The Grooming Experience Our groomers manage the client experience from beginning to end.

This includes:

Personally checking grooming clients in and out Completing a head-to-toe assessment before grooming Consulting with clients about the requested groom, coat condition, and recommendations Recommending appropriate premium services and add-ons Processing client payments Scheduling and rebooking appointments Communicating directly with grooming clients A company-provided phone is supplied and required for all grooming-related client communication. Groomers currently work independently, although the grooming space may be shared. Compensation & Benefits 50% commission on grooming services performed

Groomers Provide:

Clippers Clipper blades Shears/scissors — straights, curves, thinners, chunkers, etc. Combs and brushes De-shedding/undercoat tools Nail clippers/nail grinder or Dremel and attachments Specialty grooming tools specific to their techniques (hair dyes, nail polish, etc) Tool maintenance — sharpening, blade servicing, replacement, clipper repair Personal grooming apparel — smocks, aprons, grooming shoes Perfumes/colognes, if you prefer something other than what the facility provides Specialty products or equipment they personally choose to use beyond the salon's standard products Groomers are also responsible for their own maintenance, sharpening, and sanitization of blades and clippers and any other speciality tools.
