Overview Come join us at the regions premier grooming salon and work with a great team! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. Duties Perform grooming services including trimming, full grooms, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention. Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Qualifications Proven experience in dog grooming is required. Skills in heavy lifting to manage larger breeds safely during grooming. Knowledge of dog handling techniques, dog training methods, and animal restraint practices is beneficial. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
