Full Job Description Job Description:

The Diggs at Paws and Claws is seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking Kennel / Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who truly enjoys working with animals and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and structured environment for dogs in our care. The right candidate will be a trustworthy team player with knowledge of animal care and basic animal behavior , who is comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily cleaning and sanitizing of kennels, play areas, and facility spaces Supervising dogs in daycare and monitoring group play Observing and responding appropriately to dog behavior Feeding, watering, and general care of boarding dogs Maintaining a safe and calm environment for all animals Assisting with daily kennel routines and facility upkeep

Schedule:

Several Shifts available Rotating weekends as needed Weekends and holidays are required

Requirements:

Knowledge of animal care and basic animal behavior Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities Ability to perform physical work including cleaning, lifting, and standing for extended periods Reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team player Must be able to pass a drug test Previous kennel, veterinary, shelter, or daycare experience is a plus but not required
