Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry friends, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the van for all animals and clients. You must also be a trustworthy driver, and have a clean driving record. - Groom animals, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and clipping, according to breed, age, and health requirements.
- Drive and operate large vans, operate generators and inverters, troubleshoot problems if necessary
- Provide expert dog training and handling, ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals.
- Clean and disinfect vans and equipment to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied with the services provided.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their continued satisfaction with our services.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Pet Groomer is required.
- Driver's License and clean driving record
- A background in animal care, veterinary technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal grooming techniques, breeds, and health requirements is required.
- Proven ability to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical stamina to lift and move animals and equipment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in pet care and grooming techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle and care for animals in a kennel setting.
- Familiarity with animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of animal health and safety regulations.
