In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong understanding of grooming techniques, as well as the ability to handle pets with care and compassion. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming needs. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety as well as your own during grooming sessions. Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, building rapport and trust with both clients and their pets. Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and techniques to provide the best service possible. Skills Proven experience in pet grooming . Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions. Familiarity with various breeds' specific grooming requirements is an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and understand their needs.
