This position offers an exciting opportunity to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career. This is a commission based position, at a high traffic doggie day care. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, nail clipping, trimming, anal gland expression and styling to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each dog's health, behavior, and coat condition. Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, work areas, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming preferences, pet health concerns, and aftercare instructions Support pet care routines such as ear cleaning, nail trimming, and skin checks to promote overall animal health Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Familiarity with pet grooming tools and techniques across different breeds.
