Full Job Description Compensation :

$16 per hour

Position :

Part-time Dog Walker and Pet Sitter We are a dog walking company in downtown Jersey City, NJ (07302) that offers private dog walks and pet sitting. We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and committed individual to join our growing team! (https://libertydogwalkers.com/) The majority of our visits are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 5 PM. We occasionally have evening and weekend pet visits. We also work during the holidays as it is a busy time for us since many people are traveling, but we rotate our team members on major holidays. Our dog walkers are out in the field interacting with clients and their pets. Must be willing to work during rain, snow, heat, and humidity. A 6 month commitment is needed. This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves to earn supplemental money while playing with pets! Previous professional experience as a dog walker is a plus, but not required as we train the right candidate.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to commute to and around Jersey City (07302) and travel between building properties/homes utilizing your own car, public transportation, or bicycle
• Must have a smartphone with unlimited data and texts
• Must love both dogs and cats
• Must be able to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Must be punctual, responsible, organized, and honest
• Must be flexible, and have great time management skills
• Must be able to make a commitment to work at least 6 months for the company
• Must be able to provide 3 references
