is hiring a Professional Pet Sitter & Dog Walker. The Reality Check (Read First!) This is a part-time, supplemental income role with no guaranteed hours . Hours range from 0 to 25 hours per week depending on client demand. It's perfect for extra pocket money or a flexible passion project. It's not a fit if you need a steady, predictable paycheck to cover your monthly rent.
Shifts currently in demand:
Evenings and Weekends. What We're Looking For A solid understanding of dog and cat body language. Walking with purpose and enrichment—not staring at your phone. Unshakeable reliability. No short-notice call-outs. Reliable transportation to and from multiple visits per day (relying on public transportation is not suitable for this position ). A desire for long-term employment (this is not a seasonal position ). What You'll Get W2 employment: We are a legally compliant New Jersey employer and we do not abuse 1099 status . Paid drive time + mileage reimbursement. Heavy bonus pay for multiple dogs, off-hours shifts, or just doing a great job. Paid sick leave, holiday pay, and wellness perks (yoga, massages, audiobooks).

Include personal, professional, volunteer, and otherwise. This role requires driving to 4-5 different client locations throughout Essex County each workday. How will you meet these requirements? We're looking for individuals interested in longer term engagement. This is NOT a seasonal position. Please list the days per week and times per day that you're available to work. This position does NOT guarantee hours. It is strictly dependent on client demand. You may have some weeks with 0 hours, and some weeks with 25 hours.
