The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats would be a bonus. This role involves providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of the animals in our care. The Pet Groomer will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences, contributing to the overall well-being of our furry clients.

Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, haircutting, ear cleaning and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. Handle pets safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, fostering positive relationships. Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role is preferred. Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog handling; knowledge of equine care is a plus. Familiarity with kennel operations and veterinary practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle pets of various sizes calmly and safely. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. A compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their well-being. Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends as needed.
