Job Description
Canine Rehabilitation Center and Cat Sanctuary is an animal shelter, rehabilitation center, and behavior training center. We are a 501 (c) 3 organization. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and have experience working with pets in a kennel or veterinary setting. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facilities to ensure a safe environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to staff. Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff. Skills Experience working in a shelter or animal-related environment preferred. Basic knowledge of pet safety, CRCCS training will be provided. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with co-workers, volunteers, and, in some cases, pet owners. Passion for pet care and commitment to providing high-quality animal care services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
