Duties Safely bathe, dry, brush, and groom dogs of various breeds and sizes using professional techniques and grooming tools Assist with dog handling during grooming procedures to ensure comfort and safety for both pet and groomer Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools, tubs, and workstations regularly Observe pets during grooming for signs of health issues or distress, reporting concerns to veterinary staff as needed Support pet owners by providing updates on their pets' grooming progress and offering basic pet care advice Assist with additional animal care tasks such as kennel cleaning or light pet sitting duties when required Handle animals with patience and compassion, ensuring a stress-free experience for every dog Skills Experience in dog handling and pet grooming techniques that promote safe and effective grooming sessions Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience is a plus for understanding animal health signals Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain pets humanely during grooming or veterinary procedures Background in veterinary assistant work or kennel experience demonstrating familiarity with animal care standards Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move animals or equipment safely Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Basic pet sitting or pet care experience that reflects a genuine love for animals and their well-being Join us in creating happy, healthy pets while advancing your career in animal care!
