Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Kennel Assistant to join our daycare and boarding team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with dogs, cleaning, and working in and outside despite weather conditions. Willing to train someone with little to no experience, but salary is based on experience. Work ethic is a must, attention to detail when cleaning, taking initiative, and of course being compassionate to all animals. We are their servants here, and their comfort and happiness is our responsibility. Salary is subject to increase over time as the business grows. Great for active retired people, stay at home moms, or 2nd job (vet techs & trainers) that would like dog daycare/boarding benefits while they work their other job. We should be able to offer PTO, health insurance, and additional benefits in the next 1-2 years. Currently we are looking to fill shifts in New Hampton and we typically start people with part-time hours, 15-25 hours per week. Shifts do open up as other staff members take time off and anyone can sign up to cover them.
