• Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets during nighttime hours.

This role involves caring for a variety of animals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while their owners are away. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, strong handling skills, and the ability to work overnight shifts in a responsible and compassionate manner. MUST be available from 6pm

• 7am and live in Saratoga County.

This is not a temporary position. Duties Feed, water, and administer medications to pets as directed by owners or veterinary staff Monitor pets' health and behavior throughout the night, noting any concerns or irregularities Provide companionship and comfort to animals, ensuring they feel safe and secure Perform animal restraint and handling with care to prevent injury or stress Clean and maintain pet living areas, including kennels or cages, following sanitation protocols Assist with pet grooming tasks if necessary Respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent situations involving animals Maintain detailed records of pet care activities and communicate updates to owners or veterinary professionals Handle heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies or pet equipment Qualifications Prior experience in pet sitting, animal care, or kennel work is preferred Knowledge of dog training, dog handling, and animal restraint techniques is a plus Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or assistant background is advantageous Experience with equine or other large animals is beneficial but not required Strong animal handling skills with a focus on safety and compassion Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and responsibly Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during the shift Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to respond calmly in emergency situations Must reside in
