Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, and styling to meet client specifications and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice Stay updated on grooming techniques, pet health trends, and safety protocols to provide top-quality service Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant Strong dog handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint techniques Familiarity with pet training methods and veterinary procedures is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as grooming equipment or large pets safely and confidently Excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners Experience working with animals in settings like kennels, veterinary clinics, or equine environments is advantageous Basic understanding of animal behavior and handling diverse breeds and sizes effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals fuels your daily work!
