We're looking for a friendly, energetic Front Desk Receptionist who genuinely loves dogs and enjoys helping people. Every service we offer is rooted in compassion, safety, and a commitment to treating every dog like family. Position Summary The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for pet parents and their pups. You'll handle check-ins, scheduling, customer service, and communication with our daycare team. Training includes time as a Pawcare Attendant, so you'll get hands-on time in the play groups to learn our pups and understand daycare operations. Key Responsibilities Greet dogs and their owners warmly at check-in and check-out Answer phone calls, messages, and emails professionally and promptly Schedule daycare, grooming, and boarding appointments Maintain accurate client and dog records, including vaccination status Process payments and manage basic administrative tasks Communicate important notes or instructions to daycare staff Keep the lobby clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with escorting dogs to and from play groups as needed Support team members during busy periods Qualifications Must love dogs —all breeds, sizes, and energy levels Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy, high-energy environment Comfortable working around barking, jumping, and excited pups Reliable, punctual, and organized Basic computer skills required (scheduling or POS experience is a plus) Flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays when needed) Reliable transportation required Training Included All receptionists complete pawcare attendant training during onboarding, which includes: Hands-on experience in the playrooms Learning dog-handling techniques and safety protocols Understanding each dog's temperament and play style Gaining familiarity with the flow of daycare operations This helps you better serve our pups and their humans.
