We are fully insured, bonded, and background-checked, providing dependable and personalized care for dogs and cats in the comfort of their homes. We are currently expanding in North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, Avon, and Elyria and are looking for a reliable, animal-loving team member to assist with dog walking and cat drop-in visits. Position Overview Midday availability (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM) is strongly preferred Additional visits may be available mornings and evenings (7:00 AM - 10:00 PM) Visits range from 20 to 60 minutes No overnight services required Hours vary week to week based on client needs This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time work such as a student, retiree, or anyone with daytime availability. Responsibilities Walk dogs and provide in-home visits for cats and dogs Feed pets, refresh water, clean litter boxes, and provide companionship Follow detailed care instructions for each pet Use our app to track visits and communicate updates Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for during each visit Work Environment This is an active, hands-on role that includes: Working outdoors in varying weather (rain, snow, heat) Handling dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and training levels Traveling between client homes throughout your service area Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must pass a background screening Reliable transportation required (travel within ~20 minutes) Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently Flexible availability (morning, midday, or evening visits may be requested) Ability to stay calm, attentive, and adaptable in different situations Previous animal care experience is a plus but not required Compensation 20-30 minute visits: starting at $10 per visit 45-60 minute visits: starting at $18 per visit Opportunities for performance-based increases over time
