Dog Daycare Attendant at OK Canine Corral East Location

Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays. Do you have a genuine love of dogs? We are hiring for 3 Norman Dog Care facilities. Two are Daycare/Boarding/Grooming centers, the other primarily a boarding facility. Staff may work at multiple locations. Your job will entail supervising active, playful dogs! You will be ensuring a safe pack environment, the happiness of the dogs, and a clean daycare facility. This is a high energy, active position, but it's also very rewarding for those who love dogs! Good customer service skills also needed as you will interact with dog owners. We have both morning (6:45am-12:10pm) and afternoon/evening (1:50pm-7:10pm) shifts. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays. Hours are flexible. Candidates must be attentive and knowledgeable about animal behavior, particularly of dogs of various breeds and sizes. Here are some of their main duties and responsibilities: Supervise dogs during playtime and rest periods, ensuring that all dogs are safe and behaving appropriately Feed and provide water to dogs according to their specific dietary needs and feeding schedules Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including cleaning up dog waste, sanitizing play equipment, and washing dog bedding Administer medication to dogs as directed by the owner or as required Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or distress and report any health concerns to the manager or the pet's owner Perform basic grooming tasks such as giving baths. Conduct initial evaluations of new dogs to assess their temperament and compatibility with other dogs Engage in interactive activities with dogs to provide mental stimulation and exercise Communicate with dog owners about their pet's behavior, interactions, and any concerns
