Job Description

Job Overview DaisyBelle Paw Spa is hiring a part-time Dog Bather to join our team in Owasso. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable around dogs of all sizes, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, physical role that supports our grooming team and helps us deliver a great experience for both pets and their owners. This is not the right fit for someone who simply "loves dogs" but has no professional experience handling them. We are specifically looking for someone with previous experience working with dogs in a grooming salon, boarding facility, daycare, veterinary office, kennel, or similar environment. About the Role As a Dog Bather, you will play an important role in keeping our salon running smoothly by helping prepare dogs for grooming appointments and supporting the rest of the team throughout the day. Responsibilities include:
Bathing dogs safely and thoroughly Drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and prep work for groomers Handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Safely moving dogs to and from kennels, tubs, and grooming stations Monitoring dogs for signs of stress, illness, or behavioral concerns Cleaning tubs, kennels, workstations, floors, and common areas throughout the day Supporting the front desk or customer service team when needed Helping keep the salon organized, clean, and running efficiently Assisting groomers during busy periods Following all safety and sanitation procedures Requirements Previous professional dog handling experience required Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, including large breeds Strong attendance and reliability Able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Good communication skills and a positive attitude Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes loud environment Able to multitask and move quickly during peak times Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and getting wet throughout the day Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation required Non-slip, closed-toe shoes required Embark on a fulfilling career where your enthusiasm for animals makes a real difference!
