As we continue to grow, we are looking for dependable, flexible, friendly, dog-loving faces to join our daycare team. This is a hybrid position. Hired candidate will be trained both in boarding and daycare responsibilities. The daycare shift is 12:30-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The boarding shifts are solely on the Weekend. Optimal candidate would be able to have open availability on the weekend, but the boarding weekend shifts are as follows. AM shift is 6:30am-1:30pm Saturdays and Sundays. PM shift is 3-9pm Saturdays, and 2:45-9pm Sundays. Must have a strong work ethic, keen sense of attention to detail, and a passion for working with dogs and cats hands on, of all personalities. Anything unfamiliar to the hired candidate is trained on the job.

• Optimal candidate would be able to have open availability, to work either AM or PM Saturdays and Sundays.

Weekend shifts are as follows:

Saturdays 6:30am

• 1:30pm, and 3pm
• 9pm Sundays 6:30am
• 1:30pm, and 2:45pm
• 9pm Daycare Position Summary (Weekdays only): As a Daycare Attendant at Passion for Paws, the comfort, safety, and well-being of our furry guests are of utmost importance.

Our goal is to provide a positive experience for our guests while in our care away from their "parents". You are closely monitoring the behavior and play of a group of up to 20 dogs (guests), and are responsible for the care, safety, and comfort of each guest in the group. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to) providing stimulation and interaction for each guest, positive-based correction, cleaning up after guests, and maintaining the cleanliness of the daycare rooms and outdoor play yards. As a Boarding Attendant at Passion for Paws, the comfort, well being, and safety of all pets boarding is of utmost importance to us. We strive to provide a happy, stress-free environment for all pets during their stay. In addition to providing a positive experience, animal care attendants are responsible for proper husbandry care of all boarded animals, including feeding, bathing, medicating, accurate notation and record keeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of guest kennels and condos.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• all sizes and breeds, but more than that, the compassion and understanding for those dogs, and the patience to work with them to make their days with us fun and stress-free Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time Dog Behavior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual(s) Able to work daytime hours Monday through Friday even during the school year Able to work outside in all types of weather Able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes loud, environment Understands the importance of communication, both with other coworkers as well as direct supervisors Reliable form of transportation Flexible and eager to learn Understands the importance of being attentive and active all times of a shift Able to work alone or in a team environment If this sounds like you, please send us a resume!
